Among the many activities that you can enjoy in and around Sigiriya including trekking, safaris and village tours you can also enjoy some horse riding from Sigiriya as well. If you are planning on a longer stay, the ForestPark Riding Centre is located in Dambulla which about a 20 minute drive away. A number of lesson and riding plans are available while they include lessons for beginners and professionals and also a ride around the nearest village.
